PAZ Design Inc. was established in 1977, with primary focus on design of better quality bedroom, dining, entertainment and upholstered furniture. We specialize in custom concept development for private label distribution channels and retail customers and have been involved in all aspects of furniture design, engineering, and product development in North America and South East Asia.

The team consists of office staff and outside consultants and is headed by Paul Zaidman, the founder and principle of the firm with 40 years of experience in design, manufacturing, and product engineering. Architecturally trained, he specializes in Mid-Century and contemporary styles, and has been a lecturer, a university design critic and consultant to a wide variety of manufacturers and retailers in North America and the Far East.

David Morrow is senior designer with 30 years of experience in all facets of design, ergonomic studies, model-making, and sample production and is expert at sketching, model-making, computer rendering and animation on FormZ, AutoCAD, Solid Works, Photoshop and many other specialized software platforms.

Ellen Zaidman is office manager, with over 20 years entrepreneurial experience in Luxury Retail Sales and business management (Jewellery, food, and apparel) as well as a strong fashion and design sense, and great client communication skills.

PAZ design products have been and continue to be very successful in the market under various brands and are steady top sellers on major retail floors such as Macy’s, Rooms to Go, Art Van, City Furniture, Raymour and Flannigan, and many other top-tier retailers.
