Our Newest Work

NewOcc-A-End_RENDER-B

We just like what’s happening in finishes and products.  There is a more casual feel, and our newest work is showing a combination of contemporary design and “let down” finishes.

The new finishes are characterized by pecky textures, sometime a bit rough…and certainly not sanded smooth, grey and greyed brown colorations and random matched veneers and solid materials. Right in line with the “urban country” theme of many interior finishes, our newest design concepts show a bit of rustic charm coupled with urban looks and feeling.  Cabinet proportions are changing and we are seeing the return of mid-century design forms to compliment the new proportions. Eclectic finishes plus new proportions are giving the new ideas a fresh look and appeal.

Hairpin legs & simple cabinet create a contemporary interpretation of a mid-century look. Random planked veneers and solids add to the character.

Large scale textures are becoming more visible and are contrasted with glass and alternate colors.

Mid-century has a new form – familiar silhouette but larger proportions. Color contrasts help update the looks. Look for hidden lighting, color accents, and a wide variety of cabinet faces.
